WINKDOM THEME / THE SHARED FOUNDATION

One identity.
Every interaction.

Give every page the same unmistakable sense of place.

Bring your colors, navigation, and everyday controls into one considered system. Winkdom Theme carries your visual identity through the WordPress site, while Builder gives each page its own story.

The shared foundation behind this website.

Shared design decisions.Native WordPress foundation.Light and dark, considered.

THE DETAILS THAT HOLD IT TOGETHER

A few clear choices.
A more coherent website.

Set the shared visual direction in Theme Studio. Let the pages inherit a foundation, then refine the details that make each one useful.

01 / BRAND

A palette with purpose.

Define the brand accent, hover color, text, backgrounds, and surfaces. Make the important actions easy to recognize.

02 / LAYOUT

A consistent rhythm.

Set shell and content widths, page spacing, and card and button radii. Give the site a shared sense of proportion.

03 / HEADER

A familiar way around.

Choose identity display, header height, and separate desktop and mobile item orders. Keep the everyday tools within reach.

04 / FOOTER

A proper finishing touch.

Carry the site identity into a shared business footer, with navigation, an optional tagline, credit text, and light or dark styling.

TWO APPEARANCES. ONE IDENTITY.

Beautiful in the light.
Considered after dark.

The shared light/dark convention gives compatible Winkdom interfaces a common direction. Colors, contrast, and assets still deserve attention in both modes.

Respect the reading experience.

Use clear text, distinct surfaces, and visible focus states. Review the actual page as its appearance changes.

Bring custom content along.

Page-specific CSS, illustrations, and third-party embeds need their own light/dark review. A shared theme is the starting point.

Try the light/dark control in this website’s header to see the page change.

THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THE FEELING

Keep your place.
Move the story forward.

The persistent shell is the frame around the page: the header, navigation, and footer. On compatible routes, Builder’s Vue navigation updates the main content while that familiar frame stays in place.

WordPress still renders the destinations as normal pages. The result combines a native publishing foundation with smoother movement through supported content.

Meet the page-building layer

NATIVE FROM THE START

Content with a foundation.

WordPress renders the page. Native blocks and menus remain part of the site’s publishing and navigation system.

FOCUSED TRANSITIONS

Change what needs to change.

Compatible navigation replaces the main content while preserving the shared shell. The whole interface does not need to restart on every supported transition.

MEASURE THE REAL EXPERIENCE

Speed is a whole-site decision.

Hosting, media, plugins, integrations, and connection quality affect performance. Test the published journey with your actual content.

THEME + BUILDER

A shared language.
Room for every story.

One place for the design decisions that repeat across the site. Another for the content and composition that make each page distinct.

  • Global brand colors and presentation
  • Shell widths, shared spacing, and controls
  • Header layout and mobile navigation presentation
  • The common business footer

Use Theme Studio for the shared presentation. Use the WordPress Site Editor for logo and navigation content.

WINKDOM BUILDER

The story inside the frame.

  • Page content and section composition
  • Words, layouts, and original illustrations
  • Page-scoped HTML and CSS
  • Desktop, tablet, and mobile previews

ONE SITE. A CONNECTED BUSINESS.

Design the experience.
Connect the capabilities.

The header can present account access and a cart when the relevant integrations are configured. Auth and commerce services supply the behavior behind those controls.

Content, customer relationships, support, community, and other business tools join the wider ecosystem. Each integration needs to fit the design, permissions, and workflow of your site.

A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS

A clearer
starting point.

Is Theme the same thing as Builder?

They work together. Theme defines the shared site presentation and shell. Builder shapes individual page content and page-scoped styling. Custom page styles can override shared defaults, so review the result across the site.

Does every link open without a page reload?

The persistent experience applies to compatible Winkdom routes. WordPress still renders normal destinations. External pages and unsupported integrations may use standard navigation.

Will dark mode automatically fix every custom page?

The shared appearance system helps compatible interfaces follow light and dark modes. Custom colors, images, page styles, and third-party widgets still need contrast and layout checks in both modes.

Does the Theme provide login and payments?

Theme provides the presentation for connected account and cart controls. Authentication and commerce plugins own the corresponding behavior, permissions, and transactions. They need separate configuration and testing.

Can this design move to another platform?

Brand choices can guide a future implementation, but this Theme is a WordPress product. Migration depends on the destination and the supported tools and content. Read about the platform and migration direction.
