A CLEAR CREATIVE FLOW
Start with structure.
Finish with intention.
Build the story of the page first. Then give every section a role, every detail a reason, and every visitor a useful next step.
-
01 / COMPOSE
Choose a starting point.
Start a page, use a page preset, or insert a complete section from the component library.
-
02 / EDIT
Make the content yours.
Edit the words on the canvas, arrange the sections, and build a clear path through the page.
-
03 / REFINE
Shape the visual language.
Adjust the content and styling. Use HTML and CSS access when the project needs more precise control.
-
04 / REVIEW
Preview before publishing.
Check desktop, tablet, and phone layouts, then review the real page in its site context.
THE COMPONENT LIBRARY
Good building blocks.
Your own composition.
Insert a complete section, then adapt its content and responsive behavior. Combine familiar patterns around the story you need to tell.
Hero sections.
A direct promise, a visual focal point, and a clear next action.
Features & services.
Bring benefits, capabilities, and offers into a readable structure.
Proof with context.
Logo clouds, statistics, and testimonials—with real evidence and permission.
Questions, answered.
Native accordion sections help visitors find the detail they need.
Calls to action.
Focused banners and contact sections make the next step easy to understand.
Icons & motion.
Explore local icon assets and supported dotLottie media to add meaning and character.
The library also includes pricing and optional integration components. A visual section still needs accurate content and any required service configuration.
CONTROL, AT THE RIGHT LEVEL
Work visually.
Go deeper when needed.
Keep the page in view while you shape it. The editor brings page structure, components, visual assets, and content controls together, with HTML and CSS available for custom work.
The page.
Manage its title, publication state, structure, and relationship to the site shell.
The section.
Give each part a purpose. Edit content, adjust its place in the page, and refine its design.
The detail.
Use custom markup and styling for the finish a standard starting point cannot decide for you.
Content you can
keep working with.
Builder components publish as native HTML and CSS. Text, sections, and styling remain part of an editable page.
<section>
<h2>Your next chapter.</h2>
<p>Make it meaningful.</p>
</section>
Illustrative markup. Interactive services, integrations, and destination platforms have their own requirements.
A WEBSITE LIVES IN MANY CONTEXTS
Every screen.
Both sides of the light.
Use desktop, tablet, and mobile previews to inspect the layout. Review the published page in light and dark mode with the active theme.
yours.
you.
Readable at every width.
Check line lengths, spacing, buttons, images, and the order of content.
Intentional in both themes.
Review text contrast, surfaces, borders, and assets as the appearance changes.
Useful beyond the preview.
Test keyboard navigation, links, forms, and real devices before release.
SPEED THROUGH A CLEARER WORKFLOW
Less repeated work.
More considered results.
Good defaults and focused changes create momentum. The quality of the final site still comes from the decisions you make.
Start further along.
Components and page presets reduce the work of building common patterns from the beginning.
Refine what matters.
Work section by section so wording, layout, and the next action can improve together.
Review the real result.
Check content, permissions, embeds, and connected services. Performance and security depend on the complete site.
THE CREATIVE LAYER OF A BIGGER SYSTEM
Build the page.
Connect the business.
Builder shapes the experience people see. The wider Winkdom ecosystem brings the content, services, and business workflows around it.
A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS
Know your
starting point.
Do I need to write code?
You can start with page presets, components, and editing text on the canvas. HTML and CSS are available for custom layouts and styling. More specialized designs or integrations may need development work.
Does a mobile preview make a page responsive automatically?
A preview helps you inspect the design. The page’s markup, styling, images, and content determine how it behaves. Review several widths and test the published result on real devices.
How does AI fit into Builder?
AI assistance is optional and depends on the enabled workflow, provider configuration, access, and usage limits. Selected WordPress deployments support AI-assisted draft previews. The complete automated AI launch route is still in development. See current Sites availability.
Can I move the website to another platform?
Native content is a useful starting point for portability. A complete move must also account for styling, media, identities, business data, and integrations. Supported routes vary by product and destination. Explore the migration direction.
